Privacy policy of recipr.io
Effective from:
This policy covers only the website recipr.io. The verselms.pl website and the VerseLMS application have their own privacy policies.
1. Data controller
The controller is RECIPR Kamil Pociot, ul. Leśna Polana 2/2, 81-591 Gdynia, Poland. For privacy matters, write to contact@recipr.io.
2. What we process and why
- Showing the page. To show the site, your browser connects to Amazon Web Services (CloudFront) servers, which process the connection's technical data, such as your IP address. We keep no visit logs of our own. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in making the site available (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Statistics (Google Analytics 4). With your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), we set Google Analytics cookies and collect how you use the site: pages visited, approximate location and device type. We use this only to improve the site, never for advertising.
- Without consent, Google Analytics runs in Consent Mode: it sets no cookies and sends Google only signals without identifiers.
- Email. When you write to contact@recipr.io, we process your address and message to reply (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
3. Cookies and browser storage
| Name | Set by | Purpose | Lasts |
|---|---|---|---|
_ga, _ga_<ID> | Google Analytics | telling visits apart, statistics | up to 2 years; only after consent |

You can change or withdraw consent at any time with Cookie settings in the site footer. Withdrawing consent doesn't affect the lawfulness of earlier processing.
4. Recipients and transfers outside the EEA
Data goes to providers acting on our behalf: Amazon Web Services (hosting) and Google Ireland Limited (Google Analytics). The site is stored in the European Union (AWS, Frankfurt), and visitors from Europe are served by CloudFront's European servers. Google may also process data in the USA, under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.
5. How long we keep data
Google Analytics statistics: up to 24 months. Email: for the conversation, then until any claims expire.
6. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict its processing, to data portability, to object, and to withdraw consent at any time. You can also complain to the Polish supervisory authority, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw).
